Ever since childhood Edward has shared a deep love for the natural world, marvelling at its ability to create things that will continue to astound humanity. It is through the longevity of the products we produce, the timbers we choose and the way in which we deal with our waste* that we and our workshop respect the natural world. Our furniture is designed and crafted to a level which will see it far surpass our lifetime and be looked upon and enjoyed as antiques by future generations. When it comes to wood selection Edward will always suggest the use of sustainably sourced FSC timbers and actively deter the use of tropical woods. With such a gorgeous array of sustainable timbers available to us, we simply do not see any reason why we should be destroying the rain forests and corrupting native communities regardless of the end product.
*All our wood waste is recycled by the great team at the Aldingbourne Trust, who also carry out fantastic work supporting people with learning disabilities to reach their potential across Sussex.
